Lost property office
You have lost something?
Are you missing your jacket, have you accidentally left your umbrella, bag or other personal items on one of our trains?
Every day, our employees discover items that have been left behind. Depending on which route you travelled with the BRB, we store lost property for you as follows. If you have lost something on one of our trains or at the station, you have the following options for finding lost property.
Chiemgau-Inntal and Oberland networks
1. Report lost online
With our form you can report your loss for items directly and you will find out if your lost item has already been found.
2. Report loss to the lost property office
You are also welcome to visit our lost property offices in person, which are located in our customer centres in Rosenheim (for the RE 5 and RB 54 lines) and Holzkirchen (for the RB 55, RB 56, RB 57 and RB 58 lines).
3. Report loss by email
If you have already submitted a loss report online and have further questions, please feel free to contact us by e-mail at fundbuero@brb.de.
Ostallgäu-Lechfeld and Ammersee-Altmühltal networks
In the Ostallgäu-Lechfeld and Ammersee-Altmühltal networks, our service provider DB Station & Service AG takes care of the lost property management.
1. Report lost online

2. Report loss to the lost property office
There is also a DB Station & Service lost-and-found office directly at Augsburg main station:

3. Report loss by phone
The staff of DB Station & Service AG can be reached by telephone on 030 586020909 from Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sundays and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Berchtesgaden-Ruhpolding network
1. Report lost online
With our form you can report your loss for items directly and you will find out if your lost item has already been found.
2. Report loss to the lost property office
You are also welcome to come in person at our lost property office, which is located at our ticket partner in Berchtesgaden main station (RVO sales office).
Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00.

Note: BRB operates the trains on lines S3 and S4 between Bad Reichenhall and Freilassing and Berchtesgaden and Freilassing respectively. From Freilassing to Austria, the trains are operated by ÖBB. If lost property is found on this section of the line, please contact the Lost & Found Service Center of ÖBB.
